Perinatal and Postpartum Support

Birth trauma - Miscarriage - Infertility - Perinatal Mood Disorders - Pregnancy Loss

Many women report feeling anxious, depressed, angry, or just not themselves during pregnancy or after the birth of a child. In fact, Perinatal and Postpartum Mood Disorders affects 1 in every 7 moms & dads. This can show up as depression, anxiety, intrusive/scary thoughts, psychosis, and obsessive compulsive behaviors. However despite these statistics, it is not uncommon for women to feel incredibly ashamed, guilty, and isolated in their emotional distress.

You are not alone. You are not to blame. With help, you will be well.

The most important thing I want you to know is that you are NOT alone. As a PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Clinician), I have advanced and specialized training in this very area and am confident I can get you feeling like yourself again. I will work with you and your support system, while providing education, resources, coping strategies, and evidence based interventions to help ease your distress.

I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) with a specific emphasis on the perinatal population. Through a very specific protocol, I work on addressing complex issues such as birth trauma, miscarriage, infertility, pregnancy loss, and medical trauma. EMDR has been shown to help resolve these issues significantly quicker than talk therapy alone and many patients report substantial improvement in 6-8 sessions.

Take the first step in gaining the support you need by contacting me and setting up a free 15 min phone consultation.
